The Art of Scissors

Picture from July 08

I wanted to share this idea because I think it's brilliant (even if I do say so myself!)

This summer Maya was learning how to hold and use scissors. I sent her outside with scissors to cut the grass almost daily. It got the urge to cut out of her in a safe way and she went from two-handed cutting to one-handed in no time!

It's been a while since I've been able to blog stalk. It was so fun reading all your posts. Great Idea with the scissors, actually brilliant!
Love the post with Ryan and the girls...touching.
I'm glad you know about that pumpkin patch too. It's awesome. Dave has yet to make it there with us, I know he'd love it. We'll have to try and get him there next year.
I'm glad Hayley is loving kindergarten. Fun to hear what she's doing. Alyvia's class read the same book on her first day. I can't wait until the baby is big enough so I can go back and spend more time with her class. Are you the room mom? I'm the room mom for Alyvia's class. I figured that was the best way to directly influence my daughters education. Plus I love party planning.
Tell your family hi, especially Hayley, Alyvia still asks and talks about her friend Hayley! Your girls are getting so big and they are so beautiful. Take Care!
